Bug in unzip instructions

Currently the book recommends to make "linux" and "linux_shlibz" targets while
compiling unzip. I object against building linux_shlibz at all. Reasons are
outlined below.
1) While making "linux_shlibz", the unzip binary gets overwritten with a small
program that prints some messages about versions and then calls a function
from libunzip.so. These messages about version numbers confuse Midnight
Commander 4.6.0, and if I tap Enter on a zip file and copy all files to
another panel, some junk about unzip versions is appended to them. Without
shlibz, everything is OK.
2) Nobody needs libunzip.so.
This broken (?) unzip may well also be responsible for OpenOffice installer
not working, although I didn't check that. I can say that I deviated from the
book while compiling Unzip and I have a working (albeit old) installation of
OpenOffice 1.0.2.
