Sorted, or at least worked around. It's necessary to tick 'No disc
menus' when opening the DVD. Annoying (I'm watching music DVDs with
performances from different years), but you can set title (which
performance) and chapter (track within performance) numbers at which
to open, and you can also skip through to next title/chapter once it
