Thanks a lot for this hint!
I had 
#undef  STARTFILE_PREFIX_SPEC #define STARTFILE_PREFIX_SPEC 
in one line!
After I changed this it works - great!!

-B/blah/lib will break a multilib build. -B does not get expanded by the
multilib spec.

Please check to ensure you correctly edited gcc/config/linux.h during
the cross-gcc build(s), specifying STARTFILE_PREFIX_SPEC as
"/tools/lib/"
