udev

When udev runs, it eventually
calls /etc/hotplug/default/default.hotplug, which complains at line 26
that it cannot find /dev/null. This appears to be caused by mounting
tmpfs over /dev, and then running udevsend, which somehow calls the
complaining script.

If I recreate /dev/null before calling udevsend, udevsend doesn't
complain. This isn't a problem on my 32-bit system, so I don't know why
it is one on my 64-bit system.
