My 32-bit system doesn't have /dev/rtc and running ldd on its hwclock
shows it is linked to linux-gate. My 64-bit system doesn't
have /dev/rtc and hwclock is not linked to linux-gate. Besides, I can
run the 32-bit hwclock on my 64-bit system and it works fine.
