You could also download the official LSB testsuite (i.e.: the only 
method of LSB conformance verification) from 
http://www.linuxbase.org/download/#test_suites. They include the 
Li18nux2000 testsuite (but, IMHO, it is rather skewed) which tests 
conformance with the OpenI18N specification, included in LSB by 
reference. This includes creating a specially-crafted UTF-8 based locale 
and testing various programs (coreutils, grep, etc.) under this locale.

BTW, before we upgraded Coreutils to 5.93, the UTF-8 book completely 
passed the automated Li18nux2000 testsuite and the official LFS book had 
50 or so failures. After the upgrade, I have not tried to retest 
conformance.
