---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Slip number -----: 45 (Removing --disable-nls when it is not needed)
Contact ---------: None
Problem ---------: Removing --disable-nls when it is not needed
Opened by -------: simon (Simon Perreault) on 03/21/2001 19:20
Assigned To -----: balu (Thomas Walter)
Current Status --: A (Active)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary:
The packages that don't seem to use this option (any more?) :

bash
diffutils
gcc [1]
gzip
sed
m4

[1] NLS is disabled by default, but it will be enabled in the future so
the option may as well stay ("gcc/ABOUT-GCC-NLS" for details).

The list was gathered by grepping. :)

In archives, I found that this was already mentioned once for bash, but it
was apparently forgotten.
