I would just like to say that reiserfs is stable, I have been using it for about a year now (It came in the mandrake kernels). It is very good in the new 2.4.x kernels (execpt 2.4.0 and 2.4.1 where it wasn't in for the first one and the second one had a some error where it wrote loads of zeros, I think, to the logs if you asked it to log).

Also I think that there should be a version of the checkfs script for people with reiserfs only systems (no point trying to do fsck on a computer with no fs that need it).
