This email is to inform you of release '2.4.16' of 'modutils' through

The changes in this release are as follows:
Printing 'Module loaded, with warnings' for people who cannot tell the
difference between warnings and errors, telling the user where to find
more information about tainted modules, a new configure option
TAINT_URL, a workaround for ppc64 symbols that contain _R in the name,
a new alias char-major-200 vxspec, a new "look in syslog or dmesg
output" message in the hints for failing modules, and the environment
variable UNAME_MACHINE overides the value of uname machine.

Project description:
The modutils package contains utilities that are intended to make a
Linux modular kernel manageable for all users, administrators, and
distribution maintainers.
