Confirmed.  I moved my copy of nasm (I have it for some reason; can't
remember what) out of the way and it refuses to compile.  (I then
checked the makefile and, yup, between lilo-22.2 and 22.3, nasm has
appeared).

IMO, grub is probably stable enough to use now although it does kinda
contradict the reason we gave for a long time for not using it (i.e. it
hadn't been released as stable).  I believe the current version is 0.92.

Anyway, given the choice of adding nasm or moving to grub... I vote for
the latter.

CC'd to lfs-dev as it probably needs discussion.  Please follow-up
*only* to lfs-dev.
