error in static gcc build?

Actually the command "ln -s gcc $LFS/static/bin/cc" will work. It will
create the $LFS/static/bin/cc symbolic link which points to just 'gcc'
which means in the current directory. You don't need to 'cd' into a
directory first to create the symlink.
