Does this mean that the book and bootscripts won't be fixed to
properly handle /etc/mtab as a file not a symlink? (I say "fixed"
because not only does mount(1) disparage this symlink as "unwise",
but the symlink creates other problems which i will not list since
they have been covered repeatedly in discussions on lfs-dev.)
