About Perl Libraries

Hi all,

I am currently using the CVS book, and have noticed a
huge list of Library Files for Perl. More importantly,
none of them are described.

Each of the files, except libperl, is a binary dependancy
of the module by the name name. All core perl modules
include a summary description, and a list can be found at:

However, considering that only a small subset of perl's
modules require a binary this Library File list does
end up feeling incomplete. Perhaps instead of, or as a
supplement to, you could include the basic info:

    perldoc <library filename without extension>

will reveal more information on the module that depends
on it. As part of either the LFS or Beyond LFS book a
reference should be made to www.cpan.org, where users
may download the additional modules they need.

Any related or unrelated Perl questions, just ask... and
thanks for the books :)
