Summary: glibc testsuite fails if lfs user belongs to a non-
                    existent gid
           Product: Linux From Scratch
           Version: CVS
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/lfs-dev/2004-
                    June/046817.html
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: Book
        AssignedTo: lfs-book at linuxfromscratch.org
        ReportedBy: matthew at linuxfromscratch.org
         QAContact: lfs-book at linuxfromscratch.org

See the above thread. The consensus (if it can be called that!) seems to be to
do the following in chapter04/addinguser.html:

groupadd lfs
useradd -g lfs -m -k /dev/null -s /bin/bash lfs
