           Summary: FHS compliance
           Product: Linux From Scratch
           Version: CVS
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: Book
        AssignedTo: lfs-book at linuxfromscratch.org
        ReportedBy: dirk.kleinschmidt at gmx.net
         QAContact: lfs-book at linuxfromscratch.org

The FHS standard expects a directory called '/media' containing 'subdirectories
which are used as mount points for removeable media such as floppy disks,
cdroms and zip disks'. I would recommend to add these directories in 'chapter
6 - creating directories'. Perhaps the sub-directories mentioned in the fhs
standard (at least 'floppy' and 'cdrom') should be created too.

Sorry for my bad english,
Dirk
