gcc checks at various points from build of LFS testing w new specs patch and
all described mods above.

Contains a README describing what, where and when ...

Note this is a complete fix to the issue in its own right, but will hold off
on setting this to resolved to see if we can limit the changes required for 
LFS testing/6.0 ...

Will have to re-do the build minus the new patch and employ the
startfile_prefix_spec mod during ch6 lock in only...
