 Trunk currently claims to be using lfs-bootscripts-20051223.tar.bz2. This
 version of the boot scripts still uses the boot_log function. So does lfs-
 bootscripts-20060315.tar.bz2. Should the book be using the later snapshot
 of the bootscripts? And what is the purpose for boot_log as opposed to
 boot_mesg if not for the now removed logging?

 Once I get a better idea of what is going on, I will update the bootscript
 entity, edit syslog.conf, and remove the text and command about moving
 logger to /bin all as part of one commit.
