Alex didn't mean litterally "Type this at the prompt". In many programming 
languages, the "|" sign represents "OR". And the curly braces "{}" are the 
same as in math, they give precedence to things. So you look inside the 
braces, choose menu OR x, and then append config to it. The reply from Alex 
explains the options clearly.
