ShellUtils compile prob and TextUtils question

Sorry this is the complete, error message:

I've looked at the source code but I can't figure it out,
I also tried compiling with gcc-2.95.2,
and I tried an older version of sh-utils and still got the same error
message.
So I don't know what else to do.
