well, actually i compiled glibc without the configparms file on my last 
lfs-installation. it has been running for the last 3 weeks without any probs.
when i saw that mail mentioning configparms i remembered that, and mailed.

but can't tell if that's ok for all systems, cause i don't know much about
glibc - not even which files in etc it needs.
