Yeah, it boots but . . . not right

Instead of diffing the files, I'd suggest simply copying those files
directly into your /etc[/init.d]. That's what I did, because I thought
the spacing of the files 
when I copy/pasted from the web site messed the files up.

(And hey, I just did that successfully last night, so I know it works!)
