486, large disk, lilo

hi again :)

i told you there was more :)

this one i think i solved but before i reboot i would like to double check
with other ppl here :)

when i first run lilo after adding the lfs entry, it complained about the
cylinders being too high (iirc) ... i have a 2.1GB on an *old* 486SX-25 -
yes people, the lfs can be compiled on *anything* if you have enough time
*LOL*

my initial system is installed on /dev/hda1, swap is /dev/hda2 and lfs is
/dev/hda3 ... lfs is right at the back of the disk !

to overcome this, i simply re-run lilo with the -L flag to use linear
addressing and then there were no complaints :)

can anyone see boot-time problems ?

... on my slow machine it has taken nearly two weeks to compile everything

and i really don't want to take a chance of having to start all over again :)

thanks again
Ivan.
