Hi, like Rudolf Floers said in the other thread, it's a bug. He tells how 
to fix it in his message (see it there)... Seems that the bug prevents 
klogd from communicating with syslogd properly. It's a simple little fix.

Only took me a minute to fix and reinstall... You can work around the bug 
by starting klogd with the "-f" flag
(e.g., /usr/sbin/klogd -f /var/log/<whatever_you_wanna_call_your_logfile)
