This is the only non tsx-11 or metalab reference I found... There seems
to be a ld.so-1.9.11, but apparently it is considered beta. See below.

ld.so-1.9.9
ftp://tsx-11.mit.edu/pub/linux/packages/GCC/ld.so-1.9.9.tar.gz
ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/GCC/ld.so-1.9.9.tar.gz

Actually, MetaLab is now ibiblio.org, and the corresponding address is:
ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/GCC/ld.so-1.9.9.tar.gz

This one is the most recent I found. README.ld.so says,
<quote>
The versions of ld.so found here should be considered beta, and
sometimes alpha, until they are placed in the public GCC area on
tsx-11.mit.edu.
</quote>
ftp://ftp.ods.com/pub/linux/ld.so-1.9.11.tar.gz

So, I guess the tsx-11 site is the ?_official_? place??? Anyway, hope
this helps some.
