AFAIK, Slackware still supports floppy based install; else you could go for
network ftp install that i know at least Debian supports, working off of
boot/root floppies.  Still, I'd bet that a cdrom would work, may just need
specifying exactly what master/slave at primary/secondary it is located at
during install, give it a go and see....
