Problem with installation of fileutils

You don't need to know German.

This is all you need - which was in english :
dircolors.c:40:15: not enough arguments for macro "strndup"

Basically, it means you should comment out the declaration of strndup in
dircolors or one of its local includes - because there has been a
redifintion that is not necessary with glibc2. The patch is below.

=====
diff -uNr fileutils-4.0.orig/src/dircolors.c fileutils-4.0/src/dircolors.c
--- fileutils-4.0.orig/src/dircolors.c  Sat Sep 19 12:09:23 1998

I don't know German, so I don't know what the error messages are saying, but
typically people do have problems when using RedHat 7.0 as the base system.
Try searching the archives on the LFS web site for RedHat 7.0 and/or your
specific problem in case it's been discussed before.

Subject: Problem with installation of fileutils

Hello everyone.
I am so happy that I found LFS and now I´m trying to build my own system.
But there is a naughty problem with the installation of fileutils 4.0. The
./configure script runs without any problems, but during doing make i got
the following error:

<snipped error messages>
PS  : I am running a RedHat 7.0 system on a 800MHz Athlon.
