I have not used these instructions to build a system, but browsing
through I found a few discrepencies.

The ld.so installation page
(http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/view/cvs/ch06-ldso.html) states:

"You might have noticed that we don't use the compiler optimizations
for this package." Then goes on to explain why. This appears to be a
hold-over from a previous version, since none of the other packages
mention compiler optimizations.

In the command explainations section of the Procinfo page
(http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/view/cvs/ch06-procinfo.html) It
explains the sed "s/XConsole/#XConsole/" Makefile | make -f -: line.
The procinfo instructions use sed "s/-ltermcap/-lncurses/" Makefile |
Procps, on the other hand uses the XConsole line, but has no
explanation listed for it.
