gzip, gunzip, zcat

I just checked how it is done in SuSE...

balu at balu-suse:/bin > ls -lia gzip gunzip zcat
 208470 -rwxr-xr-x   3 root     root        65658 Jul 29  2000 gzip
 208470 -rwxr-xr-x   3 root     root        65658 Jul 29  2000 gunzip
 208470 -rwxr-xr-x   3 root     root        65658 Jul 29  2000 zcat             


compress and uncompress though are softlinks to /usr/bin/compress

     Ba-not.doing.all.like.SuSE-lu
