You are right and i am sorry!
 --bindir=DIR           user executables [EPREFIX/bin]
 --exec-prefix=EPREFIX  install architecture-dependent files in EPREFIX
                          [PREFIX]

There was a --bindir=$LFS/static in my script. 
No idea how it got there! ;-)
