The dhcpcd hint by D.J. Lucas signals a problem with the order of
execution of the shutdown scripts.
briefly, if one uses dhcpd :
- K50sendsignals kills the daemons, including dhcpcd
- K80network tries to bring down the network, but this
fails because the networks has already been brought
down after dhgcpcd has been killed
I looked on the mailing list archive, and all I found was a discussion
on blfs.dev with the conclusion that it was better not to change LFS configuration,
and ignore the failure message.
AFAIK, this has not been discussed on the LFS list.
Is there some good reason not to change K80network into
for instance K45network (or whatever, but before K50sendsignals)
