sed out the values for the following from gcc/configure
STMP_FIXINC=stmp-fixinc
STMP_FIXPROTO=stmp-fixproto

You are in a better position to figure out whether both needed to 
removed or just one. Also, would it be ok to do this in Chapter 6?
