Configure trouble with Gawk

looks like your host system's compiler's not up to the task. When I got this 
error, it was because I accidentally deleted some much-necessary libraries in 
/usr/lib. Or maybe you need to go through your host distribution's setup 
again and install a few more development tools. You might not have all the 
necessary files to compile all packages properly. What's your host system?
