GCC problem in Chap 6

Hey all!

The GCC instructions in chap 6 use the
--enable-version-specific-runtime-libs flag, which puts the
libstdc++.so.5 file into
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3/libstdc++.so.5, which causes a
problem for Groff, it appears -

Here's what I get out of config.log:

configure:2377: ./conftest
./conftest: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or d
configure:2380: $? = 127
configure: program exited with status 127
configure: failed program was:
#line 2366 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
int main() { return 0; }

So, we either need to remove the --enable-version-specific-runtime-libs
flag to gcc in Chap 6, or add that to the ld.so.conf search path.

For my build, I added /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3 to
/etc/ld.so.conf, ran ldconfig, and was able to complete the
configuration for Groff.
