Oh no! Not this again!  :-)

Check the archives. An *installed* copy of libiberty (as opposed to a
libiberty used during the build of say binutils or gcc or gdb) is a waste of
space.

I threw out a challenge and so far nobody as responded.

Search the archives for "libiberty" & "challenge" to find the posts.
