Me too, but it annoys me after bootup that I lose 6 or so lines at the 
top of the screen and messes with man pages scrolling and less viewing 
scrolling when I am trying to get stuff done.

I remember seeing that.  That seems like a good idea.  Looks like Jeremy 
H noticed it to.
