I just noticed that the first line of the udev-config-1.rules states:

# /etc/udev/rules.d/00-lfs.rules: Rule definitions for LFS.

May be the 00 should be replaced by 25, as the 00 file is only temperary 
and replaced by the 25 file in the final system.
