And the 2.6 kernel series has eliminated the need for anyway, 
because kernel oops decoding is now handled in the kernel itself, rather 
than in userspace. The only thing that klogd needed for was 
oops decoding, and as best I can tell klogd no longer needs to perform 
that function.
