Nope, I'm not sure. I got that dep from:

http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/downloads/files/PREVIOUS_FORMAT/lilo.txt

1. What do you need 
   ----------------

     lilo-22.2 

	 or

	 lilo-22.3.2
	 nasm-0.98.34

	 (just install nasm the way you usually install packages) 


     640x480x16 bmp file


a hint that is up for adoption so is badly outdated.

and what Jeremy is doing by including options in the dev version is a
start to that.
