Problems w/ Flex 2.5.34

I was attempting to compile http://www.acpica.org/downloads/, and flex
reported a flex: fatal internal error, bad transition character
detected in sympartition()

I ran into this bugreport when diagnosing, which implied this was
possible with flex 2.5.34, and that there was a fix upstream.  (I
never
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=466835.

For fun, I checked out flex's homepage, which has 2.5.35.  Compiled,
Installed, and it worked.
