FYI, this broke jhalfs's ability to automatically run the makefile 
because of the lack of md5sums for bootscripts and udev-config 
tarballs.  Not likely a big deal as those of us building SVN had better 
know why.  However, when a release time comes, add another line to the 
release checklist as those entities should probably be replaced with 
real values in the book's source since they will be static.  I haven't 
looked yet, but I don't think it should be difficult.
