 Last time this was discussed, the general view seemed to be that
pure64 was a step far enough.  Care to remind me what the advantages
of multilib builds are ?  I'm looking at the "whole system" here,
most of which is in BLFS (or, for existing multilib users, cblfs).

 Sure, I know how to build my desktop with this part 64-bit and that
part 32-bit, and how to keep the gnome stuff happy (I only ever
build kde as 64-bit on multilib).  I'm not sure I'm keen on forcing
that onto BLFS, there is enough trouble catching up to 6.4.

 Note: I'm a lilo user on my pure64 box, so "can build grub" isn't
enough to convince me.

ĸen, who does build multilib desktops, but nowadays only on ppc64.
