Just to be clear, though. LFS is _not_ trying cross compiling. The only
thing cross-compiled in LFS's new method is Glibc in the temporary tools
section - and even with that, the host and target system must be the
same architecture. Even though the second pass of Binutils and GCC will
also make use of the cross compiler and linker, they are actually native
builds.
