hang in gettext tests

I just noticed that looks normal...

I thought the tests looked longer because of the following commands:
$ head -n1 097-gettext && ls -l 097-gettext
Sun Nov 16 01:06:14 PST 2008
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 45920 2008-11-16 01:15 097-gettext

Not sure now. I'll add time stamps to the end of the test log files this 
week and see.
