no libidn/ in glibc-2.9

Could you be more specific please?  I can't see any reference to libidn in
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/development/chapter06/glibc.html and a grep
over the book sources only shows hits for commented out sections in chapter06/glibc.xml
and chapter03/packages.xml.
