glibc-2.10.1 make check fails

I haven't found the source of the make check problem yet, but I have found the 
following email:

This indicates that

   sed -i '/vi_VN.TCVN/d' localedata/SUPPORTED

is not needed any more.  The fix was made 2005-10-14, but Alexander indicated it 
was still broken in Feb 2007:

The file glibc-2.10.1/localedata/locales/vi_VN has:

revision   "1.1"
date       "2004-01-09"

I'm thinking we should drop the sed unless we get additional confimation that it 
is still a problem.
