[lfs-dev] Program Crashes

I'm experiencing two crashes that may or may not be related.

I've just completed xfce and when it came up, it crashed right away. My
first step was to look at drivers.

I'm using xf86-video-intel-2.99.911. The problem seems to be when using
the glamor-egl-0.6.0 acceleration library because when I removed the
xorg configuration file with the line Option "AccelMethod" "glamor", the
crash stopped.

Perhaps the problem is a conflict between the development driver
(19-Mar-2014) and the glamor driver version (24-Jan-2014) or a gcc-4.9.0

I couldn't find anything that mentions a problem, but development
drivers are always suspect.

The second problem is that the xfce4-terminal terminal program crashes
when the mouse moves over the Terminal->Set Encoding menu item (no
click). Syslog has:

May 15 18:47:43 toshiba-lfs kernel: [185873.081476]
xfce4-terminal[7413]: segfault at 200602 ip 00007f98fb3e0485 sp
00007fffda3fbf00 error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.4000.0[7f98fb37c000+106000]

so it really looks like a glib error. I can try to run it through gdb,
but I suspect a gcc-4.9.0 problem here.

Does anyone have thoughts on these problems?
