If you want to build LFS on a NewWorld apple (other than a G5) it
should just be a matter of replacing grub by mac-fdisk, hfsutils,
powerpc-utils (just 'make nvsetenv' then install it in /sbin) and
yaboot. You'll need /dev/nvram (c 10 144) for nvsetenv which is used by
ybin. If you can't find any of these, look in your local debian mirror.

[ If you run on a G5, you probably want to build a ppc64 kernel, which
means at least building a 64-bit cross binutils and gcc.]

You should be able to strip the built system down just like any other
LFS. But this isn't a distro, it's just enough to build a system. If
you intend to create a small special-purpose distro you need to define
what you want it to do, then cherry-pick the applications from BLFS.
And if you intend to create a bootable CD you'll need to read the man
page for cdrecord.

das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce
