That's what the discussion is about in that there's a timing issue i.e. the devices are being generated before alsa, so udev doesn't know about setting audio devices.  Well that's how I understand the situation and posted for the work around.

I'd be interested in how you got your devices generated.  I see from the 50 rules file that there are few alsa listings.
