[lfs-support] Use VM to do LFS

Steve,
 
Are you trying to create initramfs in addition to the kernel image?  Were you ever able to mount the initramfs as the final file  system? I had an impression that LFS doesn't support initramfs creation (or it doesn't provide instructions how to do it).
