It's fine.  :)  On my systems I just have the normal blfs [ 
user at hostname : dir ], no colors.  The date/time is a neat feature also, 
but to me isn't useful since it was the date/time when you ran the last 
command or pressed enter, not the current time.  Silly me would look at 
it at a glance and be at work later.  ;)  I'd rather just look at a 
clock, type `date` or in xfce/gnome/kde look in the corner.  ;)

But for the LiveCD, it is fine.  Also a good example.
